Meet the Leadership
Pastor Jim and Jeng Yap
On Saturday 23 April 2016, Pastors Jim and Jeng Yap were installed into CTJ Church as the new Senior Pastors.
The heart of our Seniors pastors is to shepherd and care for the church and to reach more souls for Jesus.
“Pastor” from the Greek word poimein means “shepherd”. The book of Jeremiah 3:15 says that the Lord will give you pastors according to His heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Our Pastors in CTJ Church:
- Pastor Rodel and Rita Delacruz
- Reverend Valerie Cantre
We have nine elders who assist in the care of our church members. Paul says an elder is a person who is above reproach (1 Tim. 3:2). The lifestyle of an elder is such that no one can legitimately accuse him of conduct, which is unbefitting a mature believer. However, this does not mean he/she is perfect or without room for improvement because none of us are perfect (Phil 3:10-14); (Psalms 143:2).
An elder is a devout model of Christian maturity and has a strong desire to serve the Lord and the body of Christ as an overseer of the flock (1 Peter 5:1-2).
